Extremely apropos to your “coming out” post. The 60s and 70s were scary times. In my little town was a back room bar, no neon lights, no signs, just a light hanging over the back door to Mother Phil’s. Cops knew about it, abused and molested us, but, it was our bar.
This is a wonderful cover of that song. I used it in my coming out story.

Yes, I heard Ben Platt for the 1st time today. Have always loved that song. I’m old enough to remember it from West Side Story.

I occasionally strike this with videos from the U.S. I think it’s something to do with set up or licensing. Always annoys me when it happens, though.
